Van Halteren Special Products BV selects Infor Visual ERP

The Netherlands based Van Halteren Special Products BV, part of the Van Halteren Groep, has decided to implement Infor Visual ERP. Quartess, the Netherlands based Infor partner for the SMB manufacturing industry will work the coming months together with Van Halteren on the successful implementation of the system.

Van Halteren Special Products B.V. (VHSP) provides technical services and develops & builds high-tech components and solutions for the Defense market, both Army and Navy, and the Civil (rail) market. VHSP provides technical services from design, realization, operation, maintenance, repair and overhaul to midlife updates. Products and activities range from engines, transmissions, power packs, cooling systems and collective Nuclear, Biological and Chemical (NBC) protection, climate control and chiller units for armored vehicles, to naval applications and rail solutions. VHSP offers its clients solutions during the complete lifecycle of a product. Solutions are customized where necessary.

Because of growth of their business, integration of back-office processes including financials, became increasingly important to the board of directors of Van Halteren. The need to replace the existing system became necessary therefore. Since another company within the group uses Infor Visual ERP successful, and Van Halteren has confidence in both the future of the product and the capabilities of Quartess, a thorough evaluation process led to the decision for Infor Visual ERP version 8.00.
